I get an F in blogging

Ok I haven't been on in months (literally). I was getting so irritated at writing posts and adding pictures and then the stupid thing wouldn't load. I'll try again, so here are some pictures.

New Pics!

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a long time. Cole is now walking (slowly) and has started to talk better. He says dada a lot and Mama, he also says uh oh and Izzy (the dog). He says a couple other things but not on a consistant basis. He also points when he wants something. Here are some pictures taken over the last month. Including him eating cake on his birthday.

Our Camping Trip

Last weekend we went camping! It was nice just to get out of town and we had a lot of fun. It was nice to come home though. By Sunday I was ready to take a shower and get away from the camp fire smoke. Cole had a lot of fun swimming and playing in the sand.

Our trip to the zoo!

Since it was such a nice day out today we decided it was time to pack up and head to the zoo in Caney. Cole, Maddie, Tyler, Jill, & Shelbi and I got to see all kinds of animals. The most interesting animals being the smelly monkeys and the huge tigers. It was a fun day, but in the car ride home the kids started getting really tired. Hopefully we can do it again soon!

9 months!

It's been a long time since I posted last and Cole has been very busy. He is standing on everything! He is also walking when we hold his hands, not on his own yet but he's getting there. He has a lot to say and is now shaking his head no, he doesn't know what it means but it's fun to do.

His new obsession is shutting the doors. If there is an open door he will crawl to it and shut it. We always know exactly where he is by the sound of doors shutting. He is a handful and is starting to show his temper! If he doesn't want something or its in his way he throws it. This includes the cat, but he grabs her fur and pushes her out of his way.

Standing

Cole is FINALLY standing. I showed him how to get up on his knees and that was all the help he needed. The rest of the day Monday he was crawling up on everything. Then he was trying to stand, but there isn't really anything for him to pull up on. Last night Casey went to check on Cole in his crib and there he was as happy as can be and standing up. So it's time to lower the crib, but it is kind of sad because it made me realize how much he has grown. Soon (hopefully) he will be walking and every day I look at him and he looks less and less like a baby and more and more like a little boy. Depressing!

Swimming is Fun!!

Cole went swimming for the very first time today! We went out to Jill's and he had fun with little Maddie. The water was kind of cold so they didn't stay in there very long, but he still had fun splashing around.
